HOW TO SAVE MONEY?

You have been asked to talk to students on ways to save money. Your talk must less than 120 words. You may use the notes below.

• Saving account : save some pocket money
• Watchout for money wasters : snacks, soft drink
• Gadgets : smartphone, mp3 players, video games
• Socialising : go Dutch (share cost)
• Clothes : expensive
• Share with a friend : video games, DVDs

      A very good morning to principal, teachers and my fellow friends. I as the president of school's Consumer Club would like to give a speech entitled 'How To Save Money?'. Saving money are ways to save our money from money wasters like us. We usually waste our money to buy something that we don't need at all. We always use our money unwisely.

Teachers and friends, 

       Most of people use their money wisely. They don't use all of their money but they save money to make extra pocket money. Money wasters can be found anywhere. They always use their money to buy snacks, soft drink and other thing useless. Other than that, gadgets like smartphone, mp3 players and video games are modern gadgets that can waste our money too. The gadgets are too expensive for us to buy.

       Moreover, if we save our money, we can use it when we need it. We can also use our saving to pay whatever we need it most. If we start saving from now on, we can use it in future.

       Lastly, I would like to thanks all of you for listening to my speech. I hope you will start saving. I think that's all for now, thank you.
